# Privacy Policy — Pet On Screen: Cute Shimeji

## The short version

- Pet On Screen collects **no personal data**, runs with **no internet connection**, and has **no ad or analytics SDKs** of any kind.

- Everything — your chosen pets, custom designs, and settings — stays in local storage on your device.

- If you pick a photo, sticker, or GIF for a custom pet, Android's Photo Picker hands the app only that one file, never your full gallery.

- Uninstalling the app deletes everything it ever stored. There is nothing left behind on any server, because there is no server.

## 1. Data we collect

None. Pet On Screen doesn't request an account, doesn't have a sign-in, and doesn't include any network code that would let it send data anywhere — the app has no `INTERNET` permission at all. There is no way for the app to transmit your pet choices, your custom creations, or your device information to us or to anyone else, because it has no mechanism to transmit anything.

The only inputs the app ever reads are the ones you give it directly inside its own screens: the pets you tap to select, the sliders you move in Settings, and, if you use the "Create Your Own" screen, the name, color, shape, or photo you choose for a custom pet.

## 2. Permissions, and why the app asks for each one

| Ignore battery optimizations | Optional and never requested silently — only offered when you tap a button for it. Some phone makers aggressively kill background apps; this stops your pets from disappearing a few minutes after you switch away. |

| Photo/media access | Not requested. Custom pet photos, stickers, and GIFs are chosen through Android's built-in Photo Picker, which never grants the app broader gallery access — only the single file you tap. |

## 3. Where things are stored

Every setting and every custom pet you create is saved locally on your device, inside the app's own private storage folder, using Android's standard on-device preference and file storage — the same mechanism almost every app uses for its settings. If you select a photo, sticker, or GIF for a custom pet, that file is copied once into this private folder; the original stays wherever you picked it from, untouched.

No backend, database, or cloud service is part of this app. There is nothing to back up, sync, or breach, because nothing ever leaves your device.

## 4. Third parties

None are integrated. Specifically, the app contains no advertising network, no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, and no social or authentication library. Nothing about your usage of this app is shared with, sold to, or visible to any third party, because no such connection exists in the code.

## 5. Children's privacy

Pet On Screen doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — the point above applies equally to all users. The app is designed as light, general-audience entertainment and contains no age-gated content.

## 6. Your choices

Every permission above can be turned off at any time from your device's system Settings without breaking the rest of the app — the pets you've selected and your custom creations remain in place; only the affected feature (overlay display, notifications, or background persistence) stops working until you re-enable it.

You can delete any custom pet you've made from inside the Pets screen. Uninstalling the app removes all of its local storage immediately and completely.

## 7. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will change with it, and the new version will be published before it takes effect in an app update. The same text is always available inside the app itself, under **Settings → Privacy Policy**.
